Welcome to the website of artist, designer and educator Christine J Shanks. I utilize both digital and traditional processes and work in many mediums such as: photography, graphic design, web, illustration, and printmaking.

When not making work or teaching I enjoy getting away from screens and the digital world. I like doing things that put me in the moment and get me outdoors like riding on our 2004 Harley Sportster, downhill skiing, hiking, birding, and checking out old buildings/homes and abandoned spaces. I have a great appreciation for the craftsmanship of our past and the natural world.
